Given the pace of life these days and the need for people to see quick results as they go about making changes in their lives, it is of note that perhaps a focus on regaining a lost aspect of one's life will drive more dramatic and sustained change in actions, perspectives and elements of living healthier than the longer term focus on "prevention". It's almost as if "prevention" is a jack in a game of cards, but "recovery" is the king of the cards.

Now that I have almost three years of experience in the substance use disorder business, I see many parallels with media and the ability to carry messages and information across large market segments.
