Fall Colors: Better Late Than Never

The changing of the seasons often can be a good time to do something very healthy.  The change in seasons often reminds us that it's important to consider....

....such as taking time to go out in nature and get some exercise, enjoy the many changes that each season brings and to reflect on what is important in one's life and work life.

Fall is a favorite time of year for many people.  It reminds us that the foliage will be taking time to rest and recover during the winter, only to re-emerge in the spring with full vibrancy.  This period announces its arrival with an abundance of color.  This year, as in many others I decided to go for a long ride, just to relax and enjoy the atmosphere-both important activities as it relates to good mental health.

But this year, unlike the past, I almost waited too long to take advantage of the great fall colors.  In fact, I almost did not take the drive, thinking the colors would not be dramatic.  But as you can see from the attached photos in this blog and from those on the Photos tab of this social collaboration profile upon which the Blog is posted, I did not miss the fall colors entirely.

Here's the point.  Even if your busyness of your business gets in the way of optimum relaxation, it is very important to not miss the relaxation entirely.  Better late than never...and better late than sorry.
